Letchworth STATE PARK TRAVEL GUIDE

One of my goals with destination guides is helping readers feel the place before they ever arrive. A few principles I leaned into while designing this guide:

New, original photography, front-to-back. Older, outdated or lower-resolution images don’t have nearly the same impact. I took the majority of the photos features in the guide over the course of twelve months. 

Large, full-bleed images immerse the reader in the experience

Real people, real moments, real places

Storytelling layouts that encourage exploration instead of just listing attractions

Tourism marketing and Visitor Guides work best when they invite visitors into a story they can imagine themselves stepping into.
